Meet the amazingly photogenic Courtney! She is a senior at Powell High School (my alma mater). Courtney has known our family for a few years and she is so awesome. She is in the very prestigious Powell High School Singers and she is a hostess at Aubrey’s restaurant. Isn’t she gorgeous?! We had so much fun shooting the first half of her senior pictures…check back for the second half of her shoot coming soon!

These cute kids are my aunt and uncle’s grandkids. We had been trying to find a day when it wasn’t freezing or snowing or raining here, but that was hard to find lately, so we just went for it last week on a cloudy, kind of rainy day. Luckily it wasn’t freezing outside though. Everyone did so good and I don’t think we had anyone cry! My aunt gave bubbles to all the kids after the shoot (a great bribery technique, by the way) and it made for some cute pictures. I have to say my favorite one is of little Conner with the curly red locks looking surprised at the bubbles he just blew! Hilarious!

One of my past clients, Ronnie Price of the Utah Jazz, is up for best dunk of the DECADE!! This dunk was from 2006 when Ronnie played for the Kings. Interestingly enough, it was against Carlos Boozer of the Jazz – who later became his teammate! It’s crazy that 6′2” Ronnie was able to jump over Boozer (6′9”) for this amazing dunk!
Click HERE to view the dunk and vote for Ronnie!
For the fun of it, I also posted a few pics from Ronnie and Jenni’s beautiful wedding and engagements below. They were so much fun to work with and are such a beautiful couple! Go Ronnie!!

This is my sweet little nephew, Asher. Isn’t he adorable? He is such a ‘pretty’ little boy. I just LOVE his chubby cheeks and his huge blue eyes. Baby boys are so much fun and my family does not have a shortage of boys. Asher makes the 6th boy out of 7 grandchildren for my parents. Don’t you love the one where he is crying? I know, it’s sad, but soooo cute
Well, as I’m sure you all heard, the Vols lost their football coach Lane Kiffin Wednesday night to USC. As far as I’m concerned, I think it’s a blessing… And I already have the perfect new head coach picked out for the Vols – Randy. I had the opportunity to shoot Randy and Meghan’s wedding last summer and know first hand just how great he’d be. Here are my reasons:
1) Randy has experience coaching football at the college level. While I have no idea what his record was, that’s of little importance…
2) His wife Meghan, who also happens to be my best friend, is the biggest Vols fan I know. So she would be the happiest woman alive to have her husband as head coach.
3) If Randy were the coach, he and Meghan would HAVE to move back to Knoxville immediately…which would be awesome!
So there you have it UT fans – my pick for the new head coach. Anyone else agree? Good luck USC – I hope that works out for you!

What a fun couple! I had a blast shooting Ashley and Taylor’s wedding at the Bountiful Temple and Eaglewood Golf Course. It was absolutely FREEZING outside, but luckily we at least had a sunny day and the convenience of being able to do a few pictures inside the temple to warm up. I just loved all of the details at the wedding, and I really loved the little berries on trees during the winter time. Taylor was one of those awesome grooms who was up for anything and always had a big smile on his face, which made my job a lot easier! And Ashley, well she was just gorgeous in her beautiful princess-style wedding dress and her tiny little waist line! I love shooting up at Eaglewood – they have an awesome view of the sunset up there and we were able to get a few shots of that before the reception started. Congrats to Taylor and Ashley on a beautiful day and best of luck to you in your new life together!

I will truly miss hanging out with these guys and their families. I’ve gotten to know both families as I shot Matt’s sister Kelsie’s wedding a few months ago, and was able to shoot Amy’s family pictures the day before the wedding. Matt and Amy had a beautiful wedding day at the Salt Lake Temple and Heritage Gardens in Sandy. They are just so much in love and had us laughing the entire day. They have a fun tradition that every red light they stop at, they kiss! So we had to get a picture of them kissing in front of the red light. I had the privilege to shoot along side Nate from Nathan Pickett Films and he did an amazing job with the same day edit. I can’t wait to see the final product! I totally chose waaaaay more favorites than I usually do, but I really wanted to showcase each part of their day. It’s been a pleasure to do your photos Matt and Amy! Congratulations!

I had a blast with the Alder Family at their photo shoot. Matt and Amy got married the next day and had a beautiful wedding day! (More photos to come from the wedding later) So it was a perfect time to do a family shoot with everyone in town and their new son-in-law! These three little boys are just to die for and were so adorable and fun both days I got to hang out with them. Couldn’t you just eat them up! They have the most beautiful blue eyes ever! Oh, and you adults look pretty good yourselves!!! I want to thank you for allowing me to be a part of this special weekend for your family!
